Hi, George here. Hope you all have a good Halloween in Canada. We are now with the Bruces. We are going to have Halloween at the apartment and are soon going to pick up the candy. Have a nice day.
We have had a pretty good time in Rome so far. Now were getting ready for our friends to arrive tomorrow.
We're eating lots of pizzas and pastas. The lasagne is very good and so is the prosciutto pizza. Busses aren't as nice as the ones at London, but they'll get us from from place to place. There is a Church every 500 metres (sadly), getting really bored of churches. We're all exited to see Morocco on Tuesday.
Switzerland is a great place for a birthday, especially at the Bächlihof (Beachli farm). You get free apple juice if you're family. They (Mom, Dad, Gampy, Lydia, Werner, Alic, Lynn, Stephan and Tanya) treated me very nicely, though I did feel really sick for a little while so I missed lunch, but I rested so I could hang out later. We had a great dinner, then we got back to the hostel and went to bed. Thank you very much Lydia and Werner for the cake, it was very very good.
Here at the Rustico all is good: lift still works, goats haven't killed me yet, and were not starving. We have cooked sausages outsiide where I built the fire. Sadly I'm still doing school work and getting ready for my 'birday' tomorrow. We are going back to the farm in Jona for a couple nights then off to Rome to see our friends, the Bruces.
This is the lift.
We finally left the wee the wee little house in Obalstalden were when you woke up to go to the bathroom everybody was up. But now we have a good view at the rustico. When we got back to the rustico I got chased by a goat that was horny in 2 ways, but then I got in the and then was safe. After that the goats left and we were all safe. Then we got to the house and had dinner and went to sleep.
Today we hiked up one of Switzerland many mountains. It took a while but at the top it felt like home at the Sir Sam's ski hill. We walked up trough the farmers fields seeing cow and goats once we started getting close to the end of our hike up we were into SNOW, but we were 1280 meters above sea level so it made sense. When we were getting ready to ride the chairlift down we found that it was to expensive, so we took this big scooters down. If we didn't take the scooters we would have missed some beautiful sights. Then we came bake to our dwarf house and played poker for the night.
