Learning to surf in J-Bay

This morning George and I took a 2 hour beginner surfing course. The first half hour we just learned to lie on our stomachs and paddle and then arch our backs as we caught the waves. Then we learned how to get up on the board and then we went and gave it a try. The first few times we completely failed...

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would we be, but it was tiring.

You look pretty cool on the waves! Guess you can have fun on the water as well as in it.
What have been your favourite places & experiences?
Praying for you everyday.Love- Nanny & Poppa

Cocoa Beach will be a lot more exciting now that you are a sufin' dudette!

Wow, that's impressive! I heard surfing is much harder than it looks.

Surfing looks like so much fun. That is such a great experience.
I wish I was there. Was it really hard? That must take really good balance.
Miss you!
Merry (almost) Christmas
xoxo

Hard to believe that you can get the knack of surfing so quickly. When I lived in Florida, I thoroughly enjoyed body surfing:)
